Ordering & Payment

How do I place an order?

Add products to your cart, proceed to checkout, enter your billing and shipping details, and complete payment. You'll receive an order confirmation email immediately after.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit card, debit card, iDEAL, and bank transfer via Shopify Payments. For bank transfer orders, processing begins once funds are received.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

All prices are displayed in EUR and are exclusive of VAT and shipping costs unless stated otherwise. VAT is calculated at checkout based on your location. EU business customers with a valid VAT number may qualify for the reverse-charge mechanism on intra-community transactions.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Contact us at info@loopsy.com as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate changes, but once an order has been dispatched we're unable to modify or cancel it.

Do you offer invoicing or purchase orders for business customers?

Currently, payment is required at the time of order. For larger B2B orders or enterprise accounts requiring invoiced payment terms, please contact us at info@loopsy.com to discuss options.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

How quickly are orders processed?

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed before 14:00 CET on business days are prioritised for same-day processing, subject to stock availability.

Which carriers do you use?

We ship via FedEx, DHL, and UPS, coordinated through Eurosender. The carrier is selected based on your destination and order size.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched. If you haven't received tracking within 3 business days of your order confirmation, contact us at info@loopsy.com.

Do you ship outside Europe?

Yes. International shipments may be subject to customs duties and import taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our pricing.

Returns & Warranty

Can I return a product?

Yes. In accordance with EU consumer law, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to withdraw from your purchase. Products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Custom or made-to-order products are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

How do I initiate a return?

Email info@loopsy.com with your order number and reason for return. Wait for our approval and return instructions before shipping anything back. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Who pays for return shipping?

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defective product or an error on our part — in which case we cover the cost.

How long does a refund take?

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, refunds are processed within 5 business days to the original payment method. Card refunds may take an additional 10 business days depending on your bank.

What if I received a wrong or defective product?

Contact us at info@loopsy.com within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and your order number. We'll arrange return shipping at no cost and send a replacement or issue a full refund — your choice.

What warranty do your products carry?

All Loopsy products are covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects under EU consumer law. If you experience a defect under normal use conditions, get in touch and we'll assess the claim and offer a repair, replacement, or refund as applicable.

Products

What types of fiber optic products do you sell?

We specialise in enterprise-grade fiber optic connectivity, including MTP/MPO patch cords, MTP assemblies, fanout cables, and related accessories — available in single mode and multimode variants across a range of lengths.

Where are your products manufactured?

Our products are manufactured by SAMM Teknoloji, an ISO-certified fiber optic manufacturer based in Gebze, Turkey. All products meet relevant international quality and compliance standards.

Do you offer custom or made-to-order products?

Yes. We can accommodate custom lengths, connector types, and configurations. Lead times for custom orders vary based on production schedules. Use the "Request a Quote" form on the relevant product page or contact us directly at info@loopsy.com.

Are product datasheets available?

Yes. Technical datasheets are available on each product page. These are provided by our manufacturing partner SAMM Teknoloji and contain full specifications, certifications, and compliance information.

What's the difference between single mode and multimode fiber?

Single mode fiber (SMF) uses a smaller core to carry light directly, making it ideal for long-distance, high-bandwidth applications. Multimode fiber (MMF) uses a larger core and is suited for shorter distances, typically within data centres or campus environments. Not sure which you need? What does Base-8 and Base-12 mean?

Base-8 and Base-12 refer to the fiber count grouping used in MTP/MPO cabling systems. Base-8 systems group fibers in multiples of 8, while Base-12 uses multiples of 12. The choice depends on your switch port density and existing infrastructure. We offer both configurations.

Who is Loopsy?

Loopsy is the trade name of Optora B.V., a Dutch company registered in Amsterdam. We supply enterprise-grade fiber optic connectivity solutions to data centres, system integrators, and IT infrastructure teams across Europe and beyond.

Where are you based?

We're headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Keizersgracht 391A, 1016 EJ Amsterdam to be precise.
