This MTP® Elite to LC/UPC Fanout Assembly features a female Base-8 MTP connector on one side and four LC/UPC duplex connectors on the other. It contains 8 OM4 multimode fibers (50µm core / 125µm cladding), each routed through a 1.8mm breakout leg, all enclosed in a 3.0mm trunk cable — ideal for high-density, short-reach deployments in modern data centers.

The Elite MTP® connector is a precision upgrade to the standard MPO, offering enhanced optical performance and mechanical reliability. As a female connector, it includes alignment slots and is designed to pair with male MTP connectors with guide pins. The LC/UPC connectors use 1.25mm ceramic ferrules and are ultra-polished for clean, stable signal transmission.

This assembly is commonly used for QSFP+ to SFP+ breakout, 400G to 100G, or PSM4 parallel-to-duplex transitions.
